Pastor Robert Livesay, III

Robert Livesay served the Lord in the pastoral ministry for 50 years.  He faithfully served as Senior Pastor of Oakland Baptist Church from 1993 until his death on August 7, 2018.  Pastor Livesay was known for his sense of humor, love for people and love for Jesus Christ.  His sermons centered around the truth of God's Word as it applies to our lives today.  He loved visiting church members throughout  the week, eating good food, collecting sports memorabilia, and serving as a chaplain for the Prince George County Police Department as well as Fellowship of Christian Athletes Chaplain for the Prince George High School football and basketball teams. ​
